HALESOWEN Leisure Centre has reopened after closing for part of yesterday (Thursday, October 20) due to an electrical fault.
Dudley Council sent engineers to the Great Cornbow site to get the centre open as quickly as they could with workers managing to get the venue open by mid-afternoon.
Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member responsible for leisure centres, said: “Halesowen Leisure Centre was temporarily closed on Thursday, October 20, due to an electrical fault.
“Engineers were called first thing and repaired the fault. The centre re-opened mid-afternoon and all facilities were available.
“We thank our customers for their patience and remind people that there’s lots to do at the centre over half-term.”
