THREE people have been arrested following a disturbance in Alcester.
The incident happened in St Nicholas Close at around 7.45pm on Friday, February 9.
Police say a large group were seen carrying stick type weapons.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, not believed to be life threatening.
Two men, aged 22 and 21 and a woman, aged 18, all from south Warwickshire, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
They have been released on police bail, while enquiries are ongoing.
Officers have been carrying out additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community.
