STOURBRIDGE shoppers gave generously and helped raise £101.62 for Compassion in World Farming, Britain's leading farm animal welfare organisation, during a street collection.
The money raised on April 12 will enable the registered charity to continue its campaign for better standards of farm animal welfare.
The organisation is currently contacting councils across the country, asking them to make a commitment to use only cage-free eggs throughout their catering departments.
