Congratulations on the Lottery Grant of £2.6 Million to enhance and improve the park, for the benefit of residents and visitors ,--- hopefully it won’t be money wasted!

With Dudley MBC Children’s Services moving into Mary Stevens Park, this has caused a parking problem within, and the streets around the park, Dudley MBC knew how much this park is patronised and have done nothing to alleviate the problem, how can residents or visitors get to use the park ?

MP Margot James, is aware of the present parking problem, which will only get worse throughout the summer-- the busiest time for the park . In addition to staff vehicles occupying spaces all day, contractors have started arriving to commence work on the improvements, exacerbating an already ridiculous situation.

So come on, Dudley Council, cut out the rhetoric and hot air, and do something practical to restore Mary Stevens Park back to the residents and visitors as intended in the original Grant and Deeds of Covenant.
