STOURBRIDGE FC's match against Long Eaton United has been called off today (October 21) due to a water-logged pitch.
The Southern League - Premier Division Central fixture has been postponed following a pitch inspection at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.
It follows flash flooding across the country yesterday caused by Storm Babet.
A spokesperson for Stourbridge FC said: "Following a pitch inspection on Saturday morning, our home league fixture against Long Eaton United has been postponed.
"A new date for this match will be announced in due course.
"All tickets obtained online for this fixture - including JUNIOR TEAM parents' tickets - will remain valid to use for the new date.
"It is intended that the Junior Day will now take place on Saturday, 23rd December when we host Berkhamsted.
"More details on this and ticket arrangements for the new date for Junior Day will be advised when arrangements have been firmed up".
