STOURBRIDGE FC’s home game with AFC Totton is among a host of games postponed as persistent rainfall continues to decimate the today’s football programme.
Despite the Amblecote pitch being known for its excellent drainage, days of persistent rain have proved too much. The game will now be rescheduled, with Gary Hackett’s men next in action when they visit Barwell on New Year’s Day.
The dreadful weather has also put paid to today’s game at Dudley Sports, while the derby between Lye Town and Cradley Town is also off due to waterlogging.
In the Midland Alliance there is more misery for fans, with Tividale’s trip to Alvechurch and Gornal Athletic’s visit to Kirby Muxloe postponed, while Halesowen Town’s clash with Northern League Division One South leaders Coalville Town is another victim of the conditions.
