KINVER golfer Arron Wright has won the South East of England Links Championship.
The prestigious tournament, which was held at Royal St George's Golf Club and Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, took place in Kent from Thursday, May 8 to Saturday, May 10 .
It incorporates the St George's Champion Grand Challenge and the HRH The Prince of Wales Challenge Cup.
A field of 144 of some off the best amateur golfers, England internationals and overseas international players all took part at the event.
Wright , who is the current three-time champion at Enville Golf Club and two-time Pat Randle Trophy winner, came out on top after a play-off win against Daniel Byrne in difficult windy conditions.
He now wants to continue his progression with the hope of becoming a professional.
