Old Halesonians Colts 41 Telford Colts 0.

Old Hales Colts travelled to Telford for their second consecutive away game and came away with a comprehensivee victory.

The scrummaging from Old Hales was very impressive with props Sam Ward and in particular Chris Poole were always in the thick of the action.

The mauls and rucks were well contested by both sides but with back row Stevie Deakin throwing his body on the line with selfless abandon it came as no surprise that the home side wilted and before long full-back Mike Lawley was released to use his speed to cross the line for the first try, which was unconverted.

Despite an erratic line-out Old Hales continued to give a regular supply of ball to thier scrum-half Adam Whiteman who released his threequarters to good effect.

Winger Tom Moorhouse showed a clean pair of heels to the opposition to score a great try, converted by Andy Tromans.

Despite the home-side putting in some good tackles they were unable to stop outside half Alex Herbert from skimming his way over for the next try.

Old Hales French debutant Lou Martinez was a constant thorn to the opposition but it was fellow back-row Stevie Deakin who blasted over to score another unconverted try.

Old Hales were in no mood to allow any sort of a comeback by Telford even though they tried hard they could not stop Mike Lawley zipping through for his second try of the game converted by the irresistable Stevie Deakin.

The game fell into an untidy spell as Old Hales tried to play an open game without direction, and the Lineout again proved to be massy but from a ruck and maul good ball handling by the forwards saw Adam Whiteman released to score a deserved try again converted by Stevie Deakin.

The Colts next game will see them host local rivals Dudley Kingswinford.
