THE police helicopter has been out in Stourbridge after the driver of a stolen Porsche sped off from officers.
The driver abandoned the car on Mill Race Lane and ran to the canal off Canal Street.
He was found by police with the help of the force helicopter and has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The white Porsche was stolen and on cloned plates.

Officers were in Mill Race Lane at around 12.30pm today (Tuesday October 10) with a white Porsche blocked in by police cars.
The police helicopter was circling the town earlier in the day and police were also seen on Canal Street and Bradley Road.

Brierley Hill police tweeted: "We saw this recently cloned and stolen car.
"It failed to stop and the driver abandoned the car, running into a nearby canal.
"Following an area search he was located and arrested on suspicion of burglary with the car recovered."
