Year 9 female students from Pedmore Technology College fought off six formers from competing schools to win a regional building and construction design competition hosted at the Black Country Living Museum. The students designed an alternative entrance to be used primarily by schools into the centre and fought off tough competition in presentations from 10 other secondary and sixth form schools to win the prestigious first prize, a glass trophy to bring back to PTC.
